Paulo Dubernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiaguinho Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiaguinho Luz got free with Paulo Dubernard in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Dubernard made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Tiaguinho Luz sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Pedrinho Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Dubernard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Paulo Dubernard made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Tiaguinho Luz sent off a good shot on target. MUSHIBA FC's Toninho Matos took a good shot, in the 22nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Paulo Dubernard's head, and flew over the goal. FC Saubrigues's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by MUSHIBA FC. Luciano Baptista took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Dubernard. Paulo Dubernard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. José Maria Figueiredo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Maria Figueiredo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Maria Figueiredo hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Luz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Paulo Dubernard skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 39 minutes into the game, Ibrahim Bene was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUSHIBA FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Ibrahim Bene got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Paulo Dubernard. That made the score 7-0 after 41 minutes of play. Paulo Dubernard stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiaguinho Luz's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, MUSHIBA FC's Tiaguinho Luz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulo Dubernard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raphaël Giacometti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC Saubrigues's Paulo Dubernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Luz in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Luciano Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Dubernard was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Tiaguinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Dubernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes in the game Ibrahim Bene did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Faudel Langlois. Tiaguinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paulo Dubernard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Luz in the 64th minute of the match. MUSHIBA FC made a substitution. Perivaldo Donato replaced Pedrinho Abraão. MUSHIBA FC's Egídio Custódio was substituted for Horácio Sarmento. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Luciano Baptista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Dubernard. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Dubernard should have stopped the shot. Paulo Dubernard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Tiaguinho Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Donato to maneuver through the defense. In the 86thth minute of the game Tiaguinho Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saubrigues's Paulo Dubernard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 minutes of play, MUSHIBA FC's Luciano Baptista made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Dubernard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiaguinho Luz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Dubernard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
