Romário Ceresso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens Molander. The Shadows's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jens Molander came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Scarlet Speedster's Romário Ceresso. But to his dismay, Romário Ceresso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ludwig Bock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Dudu de Toledo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, The Shadows's Kent Törnblom got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jens Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Shadows's Jens Molander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Guimarães in the 23rd minute of play. Jorginho Peres scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Molander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Romário Ceresso fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scarlet Speedster's protests and gave Romário Ceresso a yellow card for diving instead. Romário Ceresso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the game, Scarlet Speedster's Jânio Guimarães nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jens Molander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Júnior da Fonseca charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior da Fonseca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Scarlet Speedster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Bock got free with Dudu de Toledo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dudu de Toledo was a little too slow when Ludwig Bock got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After having played for 51 minutes, Romário Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scarlet Speedster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Kent Törnblom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Shadows's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scarlet Speedster the free kick. A collision led to The Shadows getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Kent Törnblom hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Romário Ceresso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens Molander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After some careless play in the Scarlet Speedster defense, Thomas Häll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dudu de Toledo. The Scarlet Speedster fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dudu de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Clóvis Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to The Shadows getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Freddie Almkvist hit a great ball. Yuma Suzuki took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dudu de Toledo. Dudu de Toledo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 69 minutes into the match, The Shadows's goalkeeper Jens Molander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Guimarães. Lino Paiva hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Thomas Häll took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dudu de Toledo. Scarlet Speedster's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dudu de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Häll in the 77th minute of the match. Thomas Häll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dudu de Toledo having to interfere. Dudu de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Bock in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Elias Arhenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Scarlet Speedster walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
