After 5 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Zachemski. In the 7th minute Witalis Cuber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Pazura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Pazura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Witalis Cuber's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Grzegorz Gollob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Witalis Gacek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jan Pazura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, F.C. Sosnowiec's Roman Wodaszak got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Witalis Cuber came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the KS LEW Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Witalis Cuber couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, F.C. Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Blicharz to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Witalis Cuber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Blicharz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, F.C. Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Cuber came free, but Jan Pazura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Maciej Harbaszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Borys Pieknik. Maciej Harbaszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Harbaszewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Witalis Cuber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KS LEW Chorzów's Borys Pieknik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Harbaszewski in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grzegorz Gollob in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Pieknik saved KS LEW Chorzów from getting behind. 64 minutes into the game, F.C. Sosnowiec's Maciej Harbaszewski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Borys Pieknik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Walery Przybylo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Sosnowiec's protests and gave Walery Przybylo a yellow card for diving instead. Witalis Gacek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Pazura. F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 70th minute Maciej Harbaszewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Pieknik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogumil Banach hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Witalis Gacek took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Pazura. F.C. Sosnowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jan Pazura made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Witalis Cuber sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Harbaszewski in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Borys Pieknik saved KS LEW Chorzów from getting behind. Borys Pieknik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Harbaszewski in the 93rd minute of the match. Grzegorz Gollob fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borys Pieknik having to interfere. KS LEW Chorzów's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because F.C. Sosnowiec had won, even though KS LEW Chorzów had held more of the ball.
