In the 4th minute Daniel Noworolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lech Nakoneczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 5 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Skirzynski. Konrad Dudek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszek Pilipiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Adam Glembin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lech Nakoneczny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Russówek booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Skirzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylwester Kolano during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Russówek:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hahay:s goal. Edgar Olchowy charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Olchowy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgar Olchowy hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Noworolnik in the 26th minute of play forced Russówek's goalkeeper Lech Nakoneczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Alfred Skirzynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zbyszek Pilipiec was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernard Trochowski. In the 33rd match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klement Walicki to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leszek Psotka hit a great ball. Leszek Psotka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Zbyszek Pilipiec made a huge save. Lech Nakoneczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Skirzynski, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Adam Glembin got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Turek in the 45th minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Zbyszek Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Daniel Janiczek fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Daniel Janiczek a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 minutes of play, Russówek's Leszek Psotka made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszek Pilipiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Skirzynski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Przemyslaw Ankiewicz got a free kick in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Psotka came free, but Zbyszek Pilipiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Russówek's Radomir Turek made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbyszek Pilipiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lech Nakoneczny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfred Skirzynski in the 63rd minute. Zbyszek Pilipiec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Pozorski, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute of the match Piotr Adamus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbyszek Pilipiec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Turek in the 71st minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Zbyszek Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Russówek's Konrad Dudek in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hahay's goalie prevented a goal. In the 77th minute, Leszek Psotka made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszek Pilipiec. Hahay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hahay's Radowit Madajczyk was substituted for Daniel Janiczek. 87 minutes into the match, Hahay's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Dudek came free, but Zbyszek Pilipiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 92nd minute of the match Klement Walicki completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Klement Walicki a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Russówek's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
