Pablo Patrone came out of the goal and Pietro Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Maranzano charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dennis Maranzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dennis Maranzano hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The supporters of FALCÕES VERDES booed when Espigão Steamrollers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roneixon Siqueira in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Espigão Steamrollers got a corner. FALCÕES VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Carlos Fernando Azevedo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Carlos Fernando Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thomás Fernandes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Roneixon Siqueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomás Fernandes was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Waldemar Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Espigão Steamrollers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Fernando Azevedo in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Roneixon Siqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, FALCÕES VERDES's goal looked a bit too open when Roneixon Siqueira came free, but Thomás Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Espigão Steamrollers's Manuel Faria was substituted for Gabriel Sara. FALCÕES VERDES's Betinho Lenzi was substituted for Pietro Santos. Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão was substituted for Roneixon Siqueira. Espigão Steamrollers made a substitution. Cristian de Lima replaced Leroy Sane. FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian de Lima in the 69th minute of play. After 70 played minutes FALCÕES VERDES got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Luís Gerber. In the 71st minute of the match Carlos Fernando Azevedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomás Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian de Lima got free with Thomás Fernandes in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thomás Fernandes came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Espigão Steamrollers's Tarcisio Galvão. But to his dismay, Tarcisio Galvão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FALCÕES VERDES's Thomás Fernandes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FALCÕES VERDES from getting a goal against them. Thomás Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian de Lima in the 84th minute. Gugu Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pablo Patrone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FALCÕES VERDES's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tarcisio Galvão 92 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Espigão Steamrollers walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
