Umberto Dionísio came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Melquiades Gaztea could save by the left post. 15 minutes into the game, Anísio Alagoano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Melquiades Gaztea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Dantae in the 24th minute of the match. Melquiades Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Justo Gomesano hit a great ball. In the 34th minute, Nilson Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edinho Pirani had several of the 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Melquiades Gaztea as he didn't even see the shot coming.

Castanheiro SC's Ulisses Senna was substituted for Virgílio Salgado. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Dionísio made a kick off. Anísio Alagoano scored 5-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Gaztea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Modesto Cordareo was substituted for Eliseo Dantae. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 77th minute Anísio Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ booed when Castanheiro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melquiades Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Castanheiro SC's Pedrinho Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Gomesano in the 94th minute of play. Pedrinho Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Gomesano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Castanheiro SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
