After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Santo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Marco Sergi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gualterio Bidun. In the 33rd minute Marco Sergi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Bidun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Bidun came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Internet XAire's Marco Sergi. But to his dismay, Marco Sergi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Marco Sergi's late challenge caught a Formentera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Sergi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, Angelo Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Narciso Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Bidun having to interfere. Marco Sergi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 47th minute of the match Bernabe Bilintx completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernabe Bilintx a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Bernabe Bilintx hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Formentera players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internet XAire were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Sergi made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Marco Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internet XAire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Sergi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Sergi might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gualterio Bidun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Sergi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute of the match, Marco Sergi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gualterio Bidun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Hernandez during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Internet XAire booed when Formentera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Fresco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gualterio Bidun firmly grabbed it by the left post. Gualterio Bidun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Sergi's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Marco Sergi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Gualterio Bidun 74 minutes into the match. Internet XAire's Rosendo Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Sergi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Bidun having to interfere. If Julio Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Internet XAire's Rosendo Ugutz got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Sergi got free with Gualterio Bidun in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Internet XAire eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
