Olavo Henriques made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Luiz Gustavo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Salomone came free, but Hélder Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halil Can Tokuşhan made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ubatuba's Aristides Sagarteguieta. Luiz Gustavo do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olavo Henriques read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Wiliam Vale hit a great ball. Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Salomone in the 20th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo do Valle took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hélder Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Remigio in the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Godofredo Remigio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Henriques made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Luiz Gustavo do Valle sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Remigio came free, but Hélder Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Kimetz in the 40th minute. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Kimetz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hélder Travassos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 45 minutes, Geronimo Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the Ubatuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Olavo Henriques didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Gustavo do Valle went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godofredo Remigio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute of the match, Urbano Jago got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hélder Travassos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 played minutes Racing Club got a freekick which was hit by Godofredo Remigio. Racing Club made a substitution. Fermin Hibai replaced Geronimo Salomone. In the 62nd match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Remigio to maneuver through the defense. Halil Can Tokuşhan hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Racing Club made a substitution. George Orwel replaced Godofredo Remigio. 69 minutes into the match, George Orwel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Travassos. Ubatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that George Orwel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristides Sagarteguieta kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ubatuba's Juvenal Paraibano was substituted for Luiz Gustavo do Valle. In the 76th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Sagarteguieta to maneuver through the defense. George Orwel struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hélder Travassos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. In the 100th minute, Eriberto Kimetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Paraibano's shot from short distance in the 101st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ubatuba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Racing Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
