An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristides Boniel in the 6th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Boniel came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lu Zhen Sheng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Parker came free, but Lu Zhen Sheng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Dalmacio Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Zapolski came free, but Tadeo Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Machine Gun Kelly booed when DREAM TEAM WORLD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Koldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Lu Zhen Sheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save DREAM TEAM WORLD from getting a goal against them. Lu Zhen Sheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristides Boniel went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Zapolski to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Andrzej Zapolski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrzej Zapolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeo Udalaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Lu Zhen Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Erramun in the 60th minute of play. Lu Zhen Sheng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Erramun, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in DREAM TEAM WORLD's zone, Conrado Erramun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lu Zhen Sheng came out of the goal and Conrado Erramun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. André Luís Lessard replaced Andrzej Zapolski. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Wilfredo Cutberto replaced Héctor Adomaitis. André Luís Lessard scored 1-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tadeo Udalaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
