Jonatan Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Velasco in the 3rd minute of the match. After 4 minutes Monte Hermoso Beach's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Habib Ali Picavea who took care of the corner kick. Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonatan Enekoitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 9 played minutes Morro Grande E.C got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Braga. In the 11th minute of the match, Albano Cambranes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gláuber Brodel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bonifacio Fraco hit a great ball. Jonatan Enekoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ramalho in the 15th minute of the match. Jonatan Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ramalho in the 20th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toninho Grau during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Hélder Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Enekoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ramalho came free, but Jonatan Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gláuber Brodel came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Monte Hermoso Beach's Maximo Lico. But to his dismay, Maximo Lico quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Ramalho came free, but Jonatan Enekoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Gregorio Bastian replaced Albano Cambranes. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Ramalho to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Maximo Lico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Bastian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Ramalho in the 62nd minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Jonatan Enekoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Morro Grande E.C booed when Monte Hermoso Beach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Fraco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Ramalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Jonatan Enekoitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute Gregorio Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gláuber Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Bastian in the 83rd minute of the match. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Morro Grande E.C's Toninho Grau got a free kick in the 91st minute.
