After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Otávio Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Brasil came out of the goal and Otávio Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Evair Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ITAFUT 4EVER's protests and gave Evair Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Evair Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Otávio Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Otávio Meirelles made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side.
