Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carter Hilton got the match started through his kick off. Jervis Haslem hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gris Maffian's Edvard Broberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Southern Thrashers. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Möller in the 8th minute of play forced Southern Thrashers's goalkeeper Carman Jobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carman Jobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Möller, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Gris Maffian's Jarl Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Gris Maffian from getting a goal against them. In the 26th minute, Southern Thrashers's Jervis Haslem seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jervis Haslem the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Southern Thrashers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jervis Haslem had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 27th minute, Jervis Haslem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edvard Broberg struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Carman Jobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gris Maffian. If Edvard Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gris Maffian's Göran Bergqvist got a free kick in the 30th minute. With an all-out effort, Southern Thrashers's Jarl Lindholm threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carter Hilton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Southern Thrashers's Carter Hilton got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Southern Thrashers's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Gustavsson came free, but Carman Jobson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Billvall struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Carman Jobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gris Maffian. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Marco Awege got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 played minutes Southern Thrashers got a freekick which was hit by Marco Awege. Carter Hilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Carter Hilton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvard Broberg made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Harry Stenquist however managed to control. Arne Gustavsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Southern Thrashers getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Carter Hilton hit a great ball. Edvard Broberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kevin Möller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carman Jobson having to interfere. A collision led to Southern Thrashers getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marco Awege hit a great ball. Conner Mclatchey kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Carter Hilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carman Jobson was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Arne Gustavsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arne Gustavsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1.
