Benjamin Bladi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Timoteo Bordat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Cristo Gonchan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of deportivo madrid's Mauro Ciceron. Mauro Ciceron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Ciceron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Herrera in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, deportivo madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Herrera came free, but Mauro Ciceron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in deportivo madrid's zone, Cristo Gonchan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Ciceron came out of the goal and Cristo Gonchan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Cristo Gonchan made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 56 minutes, Cristo Gonchan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carhue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Gonchan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Carhue booed when deportivo madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Oto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Carhue's Cristo Gonchan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauro Ciceron. That made the score 0-5 after 65 minutes of play. Mauro Ciceron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Gogo Hulberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gogo Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcos Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Herrera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Ciceron came out and tried to block the shot, but Marcos Herrera slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 82nd minute. Timoteo Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Raul Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Carhue's Timoteo Bordat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gaskon in the 92nd minute of play. Cristo Gonchan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Ciceron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Carhue's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
