Marcel Freitas scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerben Eylens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22ndth minute of the game Ab Spiering who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Madness's César Châtelain was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Green Madness's César Châtelain got control of the ball when Gio Sloothaak tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25th minute, Weena's Gooitzen Witting dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Marcel Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tjeerd van den Bergh in the 33rd minute of play forced Green Madness's goalkeeper César Châtelain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Green Madness's Marcel Antonini got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Theron in the 39th minute of play forced Weena's goalkeeper Gerben Eylens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Freitas struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Gerben Eylens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Madness. Simon Hartogh kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gerben Eylens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Green Madness were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute of the match Simon Hartogh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but César Châtelain skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th minute, Marcel Antonini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Green Madness's Georges Bedu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Georges Bedu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Green Madness protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Georges Bedu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Green Madness! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Weena. Simon Hartogh stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving César Châtelain. 2-4. After a rather tough play, Weena's Simon Hartogh got a free kick in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Marcel Freitas notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Weena's Gerben Eylens. Gerben Eylens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, Claude Theron got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerben Eylens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claude Theron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Hilkes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Ab Spiering was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a defensive mix-up in Weena's zone, Timothé Capdevielle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerben Eylens came out of the goal and Timothé Capdevielle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Green Madness's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
