Takis Parlapidis struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Cristinel Alexe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feios Porcos E Maus. In the 8th match minute, Feios Porcos E Maus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svajūnas Jakštys to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Parlapidis came free, but Cristinel Alexe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristinel Alexe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svajūnas Jakštys in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svajūnas Jakštys in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristinel Alexe saved Champions Iasi from getting behind. When Feios Porcos E Maus's Svajūnas Jakštys in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Champions Iasi's goalie prevented a goal. Cristinel Alexe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliott Pépin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Răzvan Postolache in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Adam Ghimiș cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Reinaldo Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Ghimiș was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Takis Parlapidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristinel Alexe was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of Champions Iasi booed when Feios Porcos E Maus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svajūnas Jakštys didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Champions Iasi getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ionuț Predescu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Feios Porcos E Maus's Graciano Soveral got a free kick in the 65th minute. Petruț Gorcea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reinaldo Travassos. Feios Porcos E Maus's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Takis Parlapidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristinel Alexe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takis Parlapidis in the 69th minute of play. If Takis Parlapidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feios Porcos E Maus's Svajūnas Jakštys managed to work through Champions Iasi's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Svajūnas Jakštys dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Takis Parlapidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Champions Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Takis Parlapidis came free, but Cristinel Alexe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Takis Parlapidis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristinel Alexe. Champions Iasi's Cristinel Alexe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Feios Porcos E Maus made a substitution. Alexandre Aveiro replaced Svajūnas Jakštys. Cristinel Alexe made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Juan Santana sent off a good shot on target. The Feios Porcos E Maus supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Feios Porcos E Maus would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
