In the 5thth minute of the game Eugen Lupea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD SHETTANI's Olger Azofeifa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Gheorghiu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when CD SHETTANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Obando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Puiu to maneuver through the defense. Leon Contreras hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Victor Huștiu made a precise shot to the right of Olger Azofeifa. CD SHETTANI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Pleban came free, but Olger Azofeifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Obando in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Linares saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Lupea came free, but Olger Azofeifa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CD SHETTANI were furious when Emmanuel Blanco was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 30th match minute, CD SHETTANI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Blanco to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Victor Huștiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olger Azofeifa. CD SHETTANI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Huștiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fryderyk Pleban struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Olger Azofeifa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ASF BAIA MARE -MM-. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Leon Obando got a free kick in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the CD SHETTANI defense, Bogdan Udrişte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olger Azofeifa. The CD SHETTANI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olger Azofeifa should have stopped the shot. The CD SHETTANI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Chavarria to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Huștiu got free with Olger Azofeifa in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when CD SHETTANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Contreras didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olger Azofeifa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Lupea in the 64th minute of play. Bogdan Udrişte took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olger Azofeifa. Olger Azofeifa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 69th minute, Victor Huștiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olger Azofeifa. The goal made the score 0-6. Olger Azofeifa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Victor Huștiu sent off a good shot on target. CD SHETTANI's Vinicio Rojas was substituted for Elkan Peon. 87 minutes into the match, Victor Huștiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olger Azofeifa. CD SHETTANI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victor Huștiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Pleban in the 91st minute of play forced CD SHETTANI's goalkeeper Olger Azofeifa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernan Mendez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. CD SHETTANI's Olger Azofeifa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save CD SHETTANI from getting a goal against them. Eugen Lupea hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The CD SHETTANI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
