Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Franky Ooms took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andreas Palička made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franky Ooms in the 3rd minute of play. FC Kurdistan's Andreas Palička played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Turdeanu in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Olgierd Kilar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Gabriel Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kurdistan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buffalo Timişoara the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Dantas to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute of the match Hans Vennerberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Basarab Marincean skillfully saved the ball. After 11 played minutes Hans Vennerberg shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Buffalo Timişoara's Basarab Marincean to catch but Hans Vennerberg was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Basarab Marincean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Lange, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, Hjalmar Mattsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Turdeanu shot from long distance after 14 played minutes, a shot that Andreas Palička with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Buffalo Timişoara's Basarab Marincean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Sterling in the 16th minute of play. Morgan Åkesson struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Basarab Marincean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. In the 20th minute, Magno Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Hellström in the 24th minute of play forced Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Basarab Marincean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Scott Sterling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kurdistan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scott Sterling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes FC Kurdistan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albert Turdeanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Magno Dantas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Kurdistan's Andreas Palička did a great save. Andreas Palička made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Turdeanu in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franky Ooms in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Palička prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Voicu came free, but Andreas Palička reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Palička showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Turdeanu in the 40th minute of the match. Andreas Palička came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Buffalo Timişoara's Valentin Voicu. But to his dismay, Valentin Voicu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Morgan Åkesson to make the kick off. Basarab Marincean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Scott Sterling in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdistan's Morgan Åkesson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. FC Kurdistan's Patrik Uter was substituted for Oskar Lustig. The supporters of Buffalo Timişoara booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goalkeeper Basarab Marincean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Scott Sterling. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Turdeanu in the 77th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Andreas Palička to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Turdeanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Uter kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdistan's Gabriel Lange got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dan Zdrobău hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Franky Ooms fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buffalo Timişoara's protests and gave Franky Ooms a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Franky Ooms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The FC Kurdistan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Kurdistan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
