Vahid Kaas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Kaká kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilmar Welsch. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, PoznanGalaxy's goalkeeper Hilmar Welsch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Kaká. In the 21st match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ali Kağan Seferoğlulları to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Clark Wolters came free, but Mümtaz Oba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Kaká sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hilmar Welsch came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká. But to his dismay, Ricardo Kaká quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hilmar Welsch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yahya Kongar in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Kaká in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilmar Welsch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blue Mountain State were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after PoznanGalaxy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tayyip İlksel took the corner. In the 35th play minute Ricardo Kaká came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hilmar Welsch. 3-0. After 38th play minutes Ricardo Kaká shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Hilmar Welsch and just under the crossbar into goal. 44 minutes into the game, Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilmar Welsch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Mümtaz Oba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clark Wolters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koray Ömer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hilmar Welsch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kayhan Uçhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Mountain State's supporters rose to their feet, but Kayhan Uçhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilmar Welsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mümtaz Oba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vahid Kaas in the 60th minute of the match. Hilmar Welsch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Kaká in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, PoznanGalaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Kissling to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Ricardo Kaká made a precise shot to the right of Hilmar Welsch. PoznanGalaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After 70 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Ricardo Kaká made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilmar Welsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ricardo Kaká fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilmar Welsch having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ricardo Kaká made a precise shot to the right of Hilmar Welsch. PoznanGalaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Clark Wolters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mümtaz Oba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koray Ömer to maneuver through the defense.
