The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Patard in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlaho Modrah saved Kanarinci from getting behind. Genopole Entreprises's Ramzy Dor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragutin Vasiljević in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Patard in the 7th minute of play forced Kanarinci's goalkeeper Vlaho Modrah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlaho Modrah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Patard in the 9th minute of play. Kanarinci's Rade Rendulić got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramzy Dor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vjekoslav Gojak in the 14th minute of play. Ramzy Dor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roko Smolić, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ramzy Dor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragutin Vasiljević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antonin Morisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Mathieu Large sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Vlaho Modrah threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Mathieu Large this time. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dragutin Vasiljević sped through Genopole Entreprises's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramzy Dor. After 29 played minutes Genopole Entreprises got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Large. Ramzy Dor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roko Smolić in the 31st minute of the match. Hugo Patard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Hugo Patard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roko Smolić to strike the kick off in the second half. Kanarinci's Roko Smolić got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stéphane Philipps took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vlaho Modrah. Kanarinci's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 75 minutes, Milivoj Prohaska managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kanarinci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milivoj Prohaska was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Petar Krile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramzy Dor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Genopole Entreprises's goal looked a bit too open when Milivoj Prohaska came free, but Ramzy Dor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vlaho Modrah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Patard in the 81st minute of the match. Vlaho Modrah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Fourre in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petar Krile in the 86th minute of play forced Genopole Entreprises's goalkeeper Ramzy Dor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Antonin Morisson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Genopole Entreprises fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonin Morisson couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Petar Krile managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kanarinci's supporters rose to their feet, but Petar Krile was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramzy Dor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramzy Dor was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Petar Krile capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Petar Krile really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The Genopole Entreprises supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kanarinci's performance. The match ended with a win for Kanarinci.
