After 3 minutes of play, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Åge Stjernerose made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dexter Bradshaw was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Holmkjar Hotspurs's Åge Stjernerose looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Åge Stjernerose struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Dexter Bradshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmkjar Hotspurs. A collision led to Holmkjar Hotspurs getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Oliver Brunstedt hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lanús defense, Åge Stjernerose kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dexter Bradshaw. The Club Atlético Lanús fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dexter Bradshaw should have stopped the shot. Konstantin Kongsholm struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dexter Bradshaw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmkjar Hotspurs. 21 minutes into the match, Konstantin Kongsholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dexter Bradshaw. Club Atlético Lanús's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Konstantin Kongsholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Åge Stjernerose sped through Club Atlético Lanús's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dexter Bradshaw. Dexter Bradshaw came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vagner Vennitze. But to his dismay, Vagner Vennitze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Dexter Bradshaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Brunstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Lanús defense, Vagner Vennitze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dexter Bradshaw. The Club Atlético Lanús fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dexter Bradshaw should have stopped the shot. Dexter Bradshaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åge Stjernerose, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Hervé Melton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Åge Stjernerose managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Åge Stjernerose was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Holmkjar Hotspurs's Åge Stjernerose in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Lanús's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 minutes, Åge Stjernerose made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atlético Lanús's Dexter Bradshaw tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Club Atlético Lanús players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Holmkjar Hotspurs were winning 0-8.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Stokes was the one to do the kick off. Dexter Bradshaw made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Konstantin Kongsholm sent off a good shot on target. 54 minutes into the game, Vagner Vennitze lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Dexter Bradshaw. 64 minutes into the match Vagner Vennitze climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-11 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Dexter Bradshaw. Sigvardt Bech came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Lanús's Carter Stringer. But to his dismay, Carter Stringer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-11. Tim Sundbæk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Dexter Bradshaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dexter Bradshaw was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Åge Stjernerose capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Åge Stjernerose really showed his touch with that goal: 1-13. If Vagner Vennitze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
