The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Passerini helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rosenborg getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dario Passerini hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Gagnard during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th minute Serge Vielle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Barberio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Dumontet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Ramundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Rosenborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Passerini to maneuver through the defense. Dario Barberio came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Cellule's Serge Vielle. But to his dismay, Serge Vielle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dario Barberio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Merrien, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Serge Vielle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Barberio was a little too slow when Serge Vielle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 4-0. If Valentin Merrien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Serge Vielle made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Daniele Ramundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cellule's Mathias Dumontet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Cellule from getting a goal against them. 60 minutes into the match, Rosenborg's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Merrien came free, but Dario Barberio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Dumontet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Panino in the 61st minute of the match. Cellule's Valentin Merrien got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the game, Daniele Ramundo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathias Dumontet. Daniele Ramundo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Arrigo Bolognini hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute of the match Ryan Onillon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Barberio skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cellule had played much better football throughout.
