Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fiori Palmeira in the 4th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Aníbal Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Planet Caravan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aníbal Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Planet Caravan's Waldir Ferraz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giorgos Kavouras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Trifillia.FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fivos Tzanetakis to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Cardoso came free, but Giorgos Kavouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Kavouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cardoso in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Trifillia.FC's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Chulapa came free, but Giorgos Kavouras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes Trifillia.FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serginho Chulapa who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Fiori Palmeira heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 21 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Kostas Katsoulakis. Douglas Cardoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Kavouras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Planet Caravan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Giannis Goundoulakis in the 25th minute really tested Waldir Peres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Giorgos Kavouras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Chulapa in the 27th minute of the match. Giorgos Kavouras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Waldir Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planet Caravan's supporters rose to their feet, but Waldir Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Kavouras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Douglas Cardoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giorgos Kavouras was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Giorgos Kavouras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serginho Chulapa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Aggelos Balafas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glauco Fernandez's late challenge caught a Trifillia.FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Planet Caravan's Waldir Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Katsoulakis in the 86th minute of play. Trifillia.FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Douglas Cardoso scored to the left of an out of position Giorgos Kavouras, making the score, 0-3. Planet Caravan's Adriano do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Trifillia.FC's Giorgos Kavouras got control of the ball when Adriano do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Planet Caravan played a much better game than Trifillia.FC and deserved their victory. The Trifillia.FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
