The Los Bacanas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Straedelburgh's Cipriano Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fábio Leme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Célio Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Célio Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lino Figueiredo made a huge save. Los Bacanas FC's Célio Dionísio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Basílio Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Figueiredo having to interfere. Luiz Fábio Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Marques in the 72nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Straedelburgh defense, Nilson Massa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lino Figueiredo. The Straedelburgh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Nilson Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Straedelburgh booed when Los Bacanas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Célio Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th match minute, Straedelburgh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Marques to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Bernardo Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
