In the 35th minute, Erdi Sökmener hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, BATMAN SK's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Kalabokis came free, but Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the BATMAN SK defense, Giorgos Kalabokis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin. The BATMAN SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin should have stopped the shot. Giorgos Kalabokis took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin. Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The BATMAN SK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panionios MK were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Remzi Bal made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BATMAN SK booed when Panionios MK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Stergiatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Sakalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Selimhan Hacıağa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. 63 minutes into the match, Eutichios Pagarliotas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin, 0-5. In the 67th minute, Giorgos Kalabokis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Eutichios Pagarliotas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin having to make a save. Lazaros Pispinis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lazaros Pispinis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Eutichios Pagarliotas took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin to make any attempt to save it. Giorgos Kalabokis took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin. Arif Gaffar Yağıztekin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Panionios MK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
