In a very dangerous position, a player in ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Kaplan. Edelmiro Sagrario stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Giannis Podaras. 0-1. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Marcelino Ederono hit a great ball. Marcelino Ederono might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Podaras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Ederono ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute, Damian Florin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Lefteris Dermitzakis fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s protests and gave Lefteris Dermitzakis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Lefteris Dermitzakis got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Edelmiro Sagrario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giannis Podaras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Giannis Podaras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Lastur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerasimos Mitsopoulos in the 31st minute of play. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Robustiano Sansone fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaplan's protests and gave Robustiano Sansone a yellow card for diving instead. In the 40th match minute, Kaplan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Sansone to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Podaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Sansone in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucio Soin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Robustiano Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaplan's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giannis Podaras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltiadis Topalidis in the 54th minute of play. Lucio Soin charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Soin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucio Soin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Sansone got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Kaplan getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Robustiano Sansone hit a great ball. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos's late challenge caught a Kaplan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerasimos Mitsopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Gerasimos Mitsopoulos got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Soin came free, but Giannis Podaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spyros Sigalas ran back to his position shaking his head. Kaplan's Lucio Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kaplan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kaplan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
