He walked away shaking his head. Lefteris Dermitzakis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Hans Lyle put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Giannis Podaras. The crowd rose to their feet as Babbis Kalimanis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maikel Korfs. That made the score 2-2 in the 35 minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Hans Lyle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ♏ⒶⓃⒶⓈⓉⒶⓈⒾ Ⓕ.Ⓒ♏'s Giannis Podaras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerasimos Mitsopoulos in the 44th minute of play forced Northern Titans's goalkeeper Maikel Korfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Northern Titans's Maikel Korfs got control of the ball when Miltiadis Topalidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerasimos Mitsopoulos to make the kick off. Maikel Korfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Kalimanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Hans Lyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giannis Podaras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hans Lyle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 90 minute of play.
