Yakup Arslantürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Belém in the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Alex Belém notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of göztepe gençlik's Yakup Arslantürk. Yakup Arslantürk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, göztepe gençlik's goal looked a bit too open when Yong 典韦 came free, but Yakup Arslantürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Han Kostermans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Yakup Arslantürk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th match minute, göztepe gençlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erenay Bilkan to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute De hijgende Hertjes were awarded a corner. Mümin Ersezen went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Yong 典韦 managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 34th minute, Yong 典韦 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De hijgende Hertjes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Otto Korevaar kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, De hijgende Hertjes's goalkeeper Ate Famelen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aycan Zahir. Yakup Arslantürk came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by De hijgende Hertjes's Han Kostermans. But to his dismay, Han Kostermans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Metin Suerkan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aycan Zahir was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Belém in the 53rd minute of play forced göztepe gençlik's goalkeeper Yakup Arslantürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Arda Göksel Uğuz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ate Famelen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. A collision led to göztepe gençlik getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Arda Göksel Uğuz hit a great ball. De hijgende Hertjes's Otto Korevaar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yakup Arslantürk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Belém in the 59th minute. If Ahmet Çağrı Barın had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aycan Zahir took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ate Famelen. Ate Famelen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Han Kostermans struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Yakup Arslantürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for De hijgende Hertjes. 70 minutes into the match, göztepe gençlik's goalkeeper Yakup Arslantürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alex Belém. In the 72nd minute, Metin Suerkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakup Arslantürk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Korevaar went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. The supporters of De hijgende Hertjes booed when göztepe gençlik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metin Suerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Yakup Arslantürk managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when De hijgende Hertjes's Alex Belém fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alex Belém could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Yakup Arslantürk made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aycan Zahir in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ate Famelen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 played minutes göztepe gençlik got a freekick which was hit by Erenay Bilkan. Han Kostermans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yakup Arslantürk stood somewhat misplaced when Han Kostermans came free in front of goal and shot 2-8 to the left of him in the 90 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arda Göksel Uğuz in the 93rd minute of play forced De hijgende Hertjes's goalkeeper Ate Famelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ate Famelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aycan Zahir in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded De hijgende Hertjes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than göztepe gençlik.
