Fiume Veneto's Emilio Esposito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Godoi in the 4th minute of play. If Kaká Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fiume Veneto getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cesare Trotta hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Guando floripa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Raúl de Toledo. If Arturo Passerini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guando floripa F.C's zone, Cesare Trotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vitório Valadares came out of the goal and Cesare Trotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arturo Passerini was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Kaká Godoi took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Esposito. Emilio Esposito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Vitório Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Passerini in the 33rd minute. Vitório Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Passerini, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Arturo Passerini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório Valadares having to interfere.
