A collision led to Nibiru X getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Eric Montenegro hit a great ball. The supporters of Beetlejuice booed when Nibiru X was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Damazki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rutger Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Faustão Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nibiru X's supporters rose to their feet, but Faustão Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beetlejuice's Nestor Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão Pernambucano in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Faustão Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nibiru X fans cheered their team off the field, for while Beetlejuice had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
