Anfilogino Maietta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Júlio Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Diego Nanni. Anfilogino Maietta struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Júlio Porto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. Amos Walcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Júlio Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Attilio Sacchi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Júlio Porto. Attilio Sacchi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Fúria Futebol Clube's Nelsinho Nóbrega pulled a muscle in his leg after 26 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 26 minutes, Anfilogino Maietta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calenzano and the Fúria Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fúria Futebol Clube booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Maietta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute Hortêncio Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmine Cimino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calenzano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Bolognini in the 38th minute. After taking down the ball on Calenzano's corner Alfredo Bolognini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Júlio Porto quite easily take care of the ball. Emanuele Di Liddo charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emanuele Di Liddo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Emanuele Di Liddo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amos Walcher was the one to do the kick off. Hortêncio Fernandes hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Fúria Futebol Clube's Júlio Porto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Maietta in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes of play Calenzano's Anfilogino Maietta was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Anfilogino Maietta kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Júlio Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Walcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Amos Walcher might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amos Walcher ran back to his position shaking his head. Amos Walcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Amos Walcher got a free kick in the 76th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fúria Futebol Clube's zone, Flavio Genovese stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Porto came out of the goal and Flavio Genovese tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulvio Aquilino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Porto. Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Fúria Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Rezende to maneuver through the defense. Flavio Genovese charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavio Genovese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Flavio Genovese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calenzano's Carmine Cimino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Cerezo in the 88th minute of play. Amos Walcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calenzano were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
