In the 9th match minute, Esentepe JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ant Arabacıoğlu to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Bedirhan Oskay took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adalberto Marques to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Esentepe JK getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ahmet Danış Diriğ hit a great ball. Abdulaziz Tüzmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juvenal Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubens do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulaziz Tüzmen having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, Mümtaz Sehhar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esentepe JK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lovat SS the free kick. The supporters of Lovat SS booed when Esentepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümtaz Sehhar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Esentepe JK defense, Conrado Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulaziz Tüzmen. The Esentepe JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdulaziz Tüzmen should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Battal Seyyit Hürol could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Adalberto Marques however easily saved by the left post.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juvenal Melo made a kick off. The supporters of Esentepe JK booed when Lovat SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Esentepe JK's Ant Arabacıoğlu in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bedirhan Oskay hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lovat SS's zone, Ant Arabacıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adalberto Marques came out of the goal and Ant Arabacıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalberto Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ant Arabacıoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Lovat SS booed when Esentepe JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ant Arabacıoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Battal Seyyit Hürol left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esentepe JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After a rather tough play, Lovat SS's Pedrão Moreira got a free kick in the 84th minute. The audience held their breath when Ahmet Danış Diriğ in the 85th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Adalberto Marques's left hand side. In the 89th minute, Dudu Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abdulaziz Tüzmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Esentepe JK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lovat SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
