Jon Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolau Portugal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olavo Anjos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Malte Månsson. Gabriel Estrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Mira Sintra's Nicolau Portugal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jon Matsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Blanck to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Mira Sintra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Sobral to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Malte Månsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nykvarn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 27th match minute, Nykvarn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Erserman to maneuver through the defense. Malte Månsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Olavo Anjos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malte Månsson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 43rd minute, Gabriel Estrada made a precise shot to the right of Jon Matsson. Nykvarn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Dan Blanck fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykvarn's protests and gave Dan Blanck a yellow card for diving instead. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Jonas Erserman made the kick off in the second half. Jon Matsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Lustosa in the 54th minute.
