After a rather tough play, Campeche FC's Dagoberto Rocha got a free kick in the 12th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Nicolau Portugal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mira Sintra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolau Portugal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mira Sintra's zone, Virgílio Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olavo Anjos came out of the goal and Virgílio Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute of the match Dagoberto Rocha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Anjos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Mira Sintra defense, Guga Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olavo Anjos. The Mira Sintra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olavo Anjos should have stopped the shot. Nelsinho Brodel charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelsinho Brodel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Campeche FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nelsinho Brodel hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes Campeche FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Pirani. 35 minutes into the match, Campeche FC's goalkeeper Nilson Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Estrada. After having played for 36 minutes, Guga Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campeche FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nelsinho Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Guga Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Anjos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Campeche FC booed when Mira Sintra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angélico Sobral didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mira Sintra getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Gabriel Estrada hit a great ball. Virgílio Guimarães took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olavo Anjos. Mira Sintra's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Galvão in the 53rd minute of play forced Mira Sintra's goalkeeper Olavo Anjos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Campeche FC's Nelsinho Brodel got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Nelsinho Brodel off the ground. Nelsinho Brodel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Estrada in the 62nd minute of play forced Campeche FC's goalkeeper Nilson Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 65 played minutes Mira Sintra got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Estrada. Olavo Anjos stood somewhat misplaced when Guga Seco came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 66 minute. With a little luck, Mira Sintra's Olavo Anjos got control of the ball when Guga Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Mira Sintra's goalkeeper Olavo Anjos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guga Seco. Angélico Sobral hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Olavo Anjos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dagoberto Rocha. Olavo Anjos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mário Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Nilson Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Mira Sintra got a freekick which was hit by Nicolau Portugal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Guga Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Campeche FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guga Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Anjos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lauro Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94thth minute of the game Guga Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mira Sintra's Olavo Anjos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
