Czeslaw Mroczynski started the match with the kick off. Tarcísio Palha kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Alfred Bara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 5th minute of the match Tarcísio Palha completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tarcísio Palha a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of LKS Wasik Lidzbark booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarcísio Palha didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Bara came free, but Heitor Peseiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Hieronim Jarmulowicz in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Garanhão do SUL's Abel Lameirinhas. After 18 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Leite. Zygmunt Juzda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Catarino Macena, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When LKS Wasik Lidzbark's Alfred Bara in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garanhão do SUL's goalie prevented a goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind LKS Wasik Lidzbark's goalkeeper Zygmunt Juzda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Garanhão do SUL were awarded a corner. Almiro Cabral went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Almiro Cabral got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zygmunt Juzda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Catarino Macena made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Almiro Cabral. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Leite during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 65 minutes into the game, one of Garanhão do SUL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 71 minutes into the game, Ilídio Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garanhão do SUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LKS Wasik Lidzbark the free kick. Ilídio Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zygmunt Juzda having to make a save. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when LKS Wasik Lidzbark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Julião Valverde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garanhão do SUL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LKS Wasik Lidzbark the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Julião Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Heitor Peseiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Bara in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Macena. When the match was over LKS Wasik Lidzbark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garanhão do SUL throughout the match.
