Isidoro Piearres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Guto Nogueira made a huge save. Silvio Semeno came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Chester Bennington's Luiz Guilherme Queiroz. But to his dismay, Luiz Guilherme Queiroz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Silvio Semeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Chester Bennington's zone, Isidoro Piearres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Nogueira came out of the goal and Isidoro Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Recife in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Queiroz in the 17th minute of play forced SuperChango's goalkeeper Silvio Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Semeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Guilherme Queiroz in the 20th minute of play. Guto Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Rioja, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Isidoro Piearres notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chester Bennington's Guto Nogueira. Guto Nogueira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 32 minutes, Luizinho Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chester Bennington and the SuperChango players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luizinho Alagoano hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Silvio Semeno came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chester Bennington's Doriva Esteves. But to his dismay, Doriva Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 40th match minute, SuperChango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Ulizes to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Queiroz came free, but Silvio Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Isidoro Piearres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guto Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, José Maria Couto had to leave the field with a concussion. Pedro Ulizes's late challenge caught a Chester Bennington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Ulizes helped the player get up and apologised. Chester Bennington made a substitution. Geovânio Tróia replaced José Maria Couto. Pedro Ulizes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chester Bennington's zone, Isidoro Piearres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guto Nogueira came out of the goal and Isidoro Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Chester Bennington's Luiz Guilherme Queiroz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Doriva Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Silvio Semeno made a huge save. Silvio Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington Recife in the 72nd minute of the match. Guto Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Piearres's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Wellington Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvio Semeno. That made the score 2-4 in the 77 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Piearres came free, but Guto Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guto Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Piearres in the 87th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes SuperChango got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Abilio.
