Laykers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KaBuS FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Laykers got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Spinosa. In the 18th match minute, Laykers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Di Carlo to maneuver through the defense. Hüseyin Karataş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domenico Alati in the 21st minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by KaBuS FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Piccini was slow to take the kick. During this time Laykers's players had a chance to rest. Laykers's Dave Piccini was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hüseyin Karataş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Laykers's Anselmo Costacurta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment Baturalp in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Domenico Alati managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laykers's supporters rose to their feet, but Domenico Alati was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hüseyin Karataş breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Domenico Alati made a precise shot to the right of Hüseyin Karataş. KaBuS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Demetrio Antonangeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laykers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Demetrio Antonangeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Forlano made a kick off. Hüseyin Karataş stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Forlano's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute, Bruno Forlano made a precise shot to the right of Hüseyin Karataş. KaBuS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 60th match minute, Laykers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Forlano to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Costacurta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ercüment Baturalp in the 62nd minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Laykers's Bruno Forlano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hüseyin Karataş was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute Domenico Alati shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hüseyin Karataş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüseyin Karataş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Alati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Laykers fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Laykers's Bruno Forlano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hüseyin Karataş didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Forlano went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Domenico Alati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Hüseyin Karataş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Forlano in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüseyin Karataş saved KaBuS FC from getting behind.
