Takis Kalfoglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Mikrochórion's goal looked a bit too open when Radowit Watarz came free, but Takis Kalfoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Juzda in the 31st minute of play forced Mikrochórion's goalkeeper Takis Kalfoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Mikrochórion's goalkeeper Takis Kalfoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emil Debowski. Takis Kalfoglou stood somewhat misplaced when Grzegorz Juzda came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. After 45 played minutes Red Army got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Poteralski. In the 46th minute, Fotis Skopelitis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Red Army's Witold Ochylski didn't even have to move. Red Army's Witold Ochylski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Skopelitis in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nikos Lazarakis to make the kick off. Takis Kalfoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grzegorz Juzda in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Radowit Watarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Kalfoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takis Kalfoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Juzda in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Mikrochórion's Nikos Lazarakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Witold Ochylski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mieszko Kapelski hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Fotis Skopelitis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Witold Ochylski skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikos Lazarakis got free with Witold Ochylski in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Grzegorz Juzda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Kalfoglou was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Takis Kalfoglou came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Army's Radowit Watarz. But to his dismay, Radowit Watarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Mikrochórion's Takis Kalfoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radowit Watarz in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Red Army booed when Mikrochórion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fotis Skopelitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Army's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grzegorz Juzda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Nikos Lazarakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Grzegorz Juzda succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-1. There was no doubt that Red Army were the better team. Red Army's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
