Blaire Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Maximiliano Inguma made a precise shot to the right of Becan McJohnny. Vélez Juniors's Baldomero Gorka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilian McDonald in the 26th minute of play. The goalkeeper, Baldomero Gorka, was totally fooled by KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Blaire Quinnless, who 34 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 38 minutes into the match, Vélez Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbeirt Dempsey came free, but Baldomero Gorka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Maximino Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vélez Juniors were winning 1-2.

Baldomero Gorka didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilbeirt Dempsey went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Vélez Juniors's Becan McJohnny threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Maximiliano Inguma, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximiliano Inguma in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Becan McJohnny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th minute, Vélez Juniors's Maximiliano Inguma ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Becan McJohnny. Becan McJohnny yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Vélez Juniors's Justino Dalmau was substituted for Maximino Navarro. In the 74th minute Brenn McTom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Gorka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomero Gorka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilian McDonald in the 76th minute of the match. Baldomero Gorka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geary Byrne in the 79th minute of play. KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946's Peadair Doyle got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vélez Juniors eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
