In the 8th match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Jacquier to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Slaytanic Army's Beatrix Dupke broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 14th match minute, Stade Ygossais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armand Boissin to maneuver through the defense. Slaytanic Army's Wincent Dyczkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Belon in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Stade Ygossais booed when Slaytanic Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Korneliusz Posadzki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Slaytanic Army's zone, Armand Boissin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wincent Dyczkowski came out of the goal and Armand Boissin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juliusz Nowacki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Valérien Jouglet made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armand Boissin in the 29th minute of play forced Slaytanic Army's goalkeeper Wincent Dyczkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Juliusz Nowacki who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valérien Jouglet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kryspin Dec in the 45th minute. Ruud Nistelrooy charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruud Nistelrooy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anno Cycero the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Slaytanic Army protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anno Cycero had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Slaytanic Army:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Wincent Dyczkowski had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Armand Boissin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kryspin Dec made a kick off. Valérien Jouglet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Dec in the 53rd minute of play. Stade Ygossais's Valérien Jouglet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kryspin Dec in the 56th minute of play. Valérien Jouglet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Nistelrooy in the 57th minute of play. Stade Ygossais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Belon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 70 played minutes Stade Ygossais got a freekick which was hit by Martial Jay. Valérien Jouglet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruud Nistelrooy in the 72nd minute of play. Valérien Jouglet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ruud Nistelrooy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Hector Jacquier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Martial Jay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valérien Jouglet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Scholes in the 88th minute of the match. Kryspin Dec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Jouglet having to interfere. Armand Boissin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wincent Dyczkowski having to make a save. There was no doubt that Slaytanic Army were the better team. Slaytanic Army's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
