The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hidayet Kudret came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Arturo Di Fonzo. But to his dismay, Arturo Di Fonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Antonello Iacovella came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Manfredonia Calcio 1932 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonello Iacovella couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Manfredonia Calcio 1932's Arturo Di Fonzo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hidayet Kudret made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Federico De Fina fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manfredonia Calcio 1932's protests and gave Federico De Fina a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Manfredonia Calcio 1932 got a freekick which was hit by Federico De Fina. After having played for 15 minutes, Bedirhan Osman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bedirhan Osman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆ getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt Adanır hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Fulvio Cesaroni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Hidayet Kudret was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Fonzo in the 32nd minute of play forced ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s goalkeeper Hidayet Kudret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Battal Cüneyt Adanır hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garip Tunçkılıç to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Bedirhan Osman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniele Pittelli, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Di Fonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hidayet Kudret was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Fulvio Cesaroni capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fulvio Cesaroni really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. Ferruccio Spiazzi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Hidayet Kudret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Di Fonzo in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Arturo Di Fonzo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 81 minutes into the match, ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆'s Bedirhan Osman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Daniele Pittelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆ got a corner. Manfredonia Calcio 1932's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ünal Boyraz ran over to the corner to take the kick. During the 85th minute of the match Federico De Fina completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Federico De Fina a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of ☆Atar Yemez Spor Kulübü☆ booed when Manfredonia Calcio 1932 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico De Fina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Antonello Iacovella left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manfredonia Calcio 1932 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Daniele Domenghini struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Hidayet Kudret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manfredonia Calcio 1932.
