After 5 minutes of play, AMLUCHO's Severiano Borba made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vojo Šercelj was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 8th minute Severiano Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vojo Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes AISNEREN PATRIOTS ® got a freekick which was hit by Ante Pohlin. 9 minutes into the match, AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Amável Colaço came free, but Vojo Šercelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Hajredin Kukovič's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacob Belém was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Albérico Fagundes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vojo Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vojo Šercelj made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Fiúza in the 18th minute of play. If Albérico Fagundes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacob Belém took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitrij Karničar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in AISNEREN PATRIOTS ®'s zone, Albérico Fagundes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vojo Šercelj came out of the goal and Albérico Fagundes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's Severiano Borba sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vojo Šercelj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hajredin Kukovič to make the kick off. Albérico Fagundes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Vojo Šercelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AMLUCHO's Jacob Belém played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavao Krumpak in the 58th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AMLUCHO's zone, Pavao Krumpak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacob Belém came out of the goal and Pavao Krumpak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 62 played minutes AMLUCHO got a freekick which was hit by Albérico Fagundes. 63 minutes into the game, Dimitrij Karničar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jacob Belém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severiano Borba struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Vojo Šercelj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AMLUCHO. In the 71st minute Severiano Borba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vojo Šercelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavao Krumpak charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavao Krumpak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Pavao Krumpak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vojo Šercelj took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Borba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
