BOCA JUNIORS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Juan Riquelmes short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Matias Atarratze to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gabriel-Omar Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Gabriel-Omar Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saverio Fresco charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saverio Fresco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Adan Francho fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WINNING ELEVEN's protests and gave Adan Francho a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes WINNING ELEVEN got a freekick which was hit by Adan Francho. In the 26th match minute, WINNING ELEVEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adan Francho to maneuver through the defense. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Faustino Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Francho came free, but Matias Atarratze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro González hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adan Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot. WINNING ELEVEN's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Francho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Atarratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Matias Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save C.A. BOCA JUNIORS from getting a goal against them. Celedonio Urtzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Bonifaco in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute, Conrado Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's zone, Adan Francho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Atarratze came out of the goal and Adan Francho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Faustino Oro fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's protests and gave Faustino Oro a yellow card for diving instead. Faustino Oro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Saverio Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Teodosio Bero got a free kick in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Francho in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Atarratze saved C.A. BOCA JUNIORS from getting behind. Matias Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. WINNING ELEVEN's Melquiades Clis couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A. BOCA JUNIORS. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Matias Atarratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Riquelme in the 60th minute of play. Juan Riquelme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Matias Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's Efrain Joachim got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Conrado Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's protests and gave Conrado Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.A. BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Conrado Leizarraga hit a great ball. C.A. BOCA JUNIORS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Saverio Fresco in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Bero in the 81st minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Celedonio Urtzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 minutes WINNING ELEVEN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saverio Fresco who took care of the corner kick. In the 82nd minute, one of WINNING ELEVEN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for WINNING ELEVEN. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodosio Bero during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Bero kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th match minute, C.A. BOCA JUNIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Rosario to maneuver through the defense. When Melquiades Clis came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the WINNING ELEVEN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melquiades Clis couldn't finish the play. After 90 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel-Omar Batista. After 95 played minutes C.A. BOCA JUNIORS got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Oro. When the final whistle went the supporters of C.A. BOCA JUNIORS were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant WINNING ELEVEN side.
