The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Nikiforos Karnezakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bazellatin F.C.'s zone, Fulgencio Tiadoro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Pergaminos came out of the goal and Fulgencio Tiadoro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyriakos Koulos's late challenge caught a Las Palmas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyriakos Koulos helped the player get up and apologised. Las Palmas's Benedicto Platon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bazellatin F.C.. 15 minutes into the game, Nikiforos Karnezakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Turi. Nikiforos Karnezakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When Lucas Federigo fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Palmas's protests and gave Lucas Federigo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Lucas Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Las Palmas's zone, Nikos Kourabies stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Turi came out of the goal and Nikos Kourabies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Bazellatin F.C.'s Fabio Turi threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marinos Nebegleras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 32 minutes, Ilias Zelidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilias Zelidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Ilias Zelidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikos Kourabies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fabio Turi made a huge save. In the 39th minute Nikos Kourabies shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Turi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Palmas's Fabio Turi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Kourabies in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goalkeeper Fabio Turi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marinos Nebegleras. Fabio Turi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nikos Kourabies in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when Bazellatin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marinos Nebegleras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 46 played minutes Bazellatin F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kourabies. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Eneto didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Fivos Daskalakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabio Turi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fivos Daskalakis ran back to his position shaking his head. Ilias Zelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Turi having to interfere. Fabio Turi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Kourabies in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Dimitris Ntinopoulos got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Las Palmas booed when Bazellatin F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Ntinopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Benedicto Platon from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Michalis Pergaminos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bruno Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Michalis Pergaminos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Pergaminos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Eneto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bazellatin F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Las Palmas for a fine match.
