In the 13th minute of the match Carlos Lira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferrán Suarez skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúlo Varletta during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.D. Pepino’s! Ernesto Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romualdo Hetz went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Ernesto Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Estévez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ferrán Suarez made a huge save. Aurelio Raffo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute Alonzo Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luís Eduardo Vidal during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bigode Grosso's Ernesto Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Jordi Polloni in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Bigode Grosso defense, Pere Jordi Polloni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Penha. The Bigode Grosso fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Penha should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Estévez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Estévez in the 39th minute of the match. Ernesto Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pere Jordi Polloni, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Teodosio Estévez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Penha. Bigode Grosso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Estévez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Romualdo Hetz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Raffo in the 55th minute. Bigode Grosso's Ernesto Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Bigode Grosso from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Penha didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.D. Pepino’s's Romualdo Hetz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. 62 minutes into the game, Romualdo Hetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Ernesto Penha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute Romualdo Hetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Bigode Grosso's Ernesto Penha got control of the ball when Isidoro Blanchetau tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pere Jordi Polloni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ernesto Penha. That made the score 0-10 in the 74 minute of play. Ernesto Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Weisser in the 78th minute of the match. A hard shot 79 in the game by Anselmo Celada from a close distance when the talented Ernesto Penha managed to make a qualified save. Bigode Grosso's players were relieved. With his leg Ernesto Penha managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when C.D. Pepino’s's Pere Jordi Polloni fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 82 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Weisser dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ernesto Penha, 0-11. In the 88th minute, Osvaldo Weisser ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernesto Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Ernesto Penha was a little too slow when Osvaldo Weisser got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-13. 94 minutes into the game, Pere Jordi Polloni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ernesto Penha. Pere Jordi Polloni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-14.
