Aloisio Munet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 18th match minute, faier her to was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 徐永阳 to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Ribota in the 22nd minute of play forced faier her to's goalkeeper 钱永扬 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. R.B Leipzig's Josepe Mateos was substituted for Aloisio Munet. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josepe Mateos got free with 钱永扬 in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in faier her to's zone, Lorenzo Ribota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 钱永扬 came out of the goal and Lorenzo Ribota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 尤竞松 was the one to do the kick off. 钱永扬 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josepe Mateos went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-1 was the resulting score. In the 78th match minute, faier her to was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 徐永阳 to maneuver through the defense. Josepe Mateos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 钱永扬 having to make a save. 钱永扬 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josepe Mateos in the 84th minute of play. Josepe Mateos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 钱永扬 having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. R.B Leipzig had won after a very even match.
