The Sir Alexandria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcu Toma should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, Sir Alexandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Dorian to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Luisito Dalmai mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabalero and the Sir Alexandria players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sabalero getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Luisito Dalmai hit a great ball. In the 20th minute Cirilo Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Toma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Cordaryal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Marcu Toma made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rareș Vătafu during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sir Alexandria's Marcu Toma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sir Alexandria from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Efrain Clodio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcu Toma was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Adam Lepuș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Sabalero's Tadeo Cordaryal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcu Toma narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Sabalero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Marcu Toma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Cordaryal in the 43rd minute of play. Marin Negru's late challenge caught a Sabalero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marin Negru helped the player get up and apologised. Sabalero made a substitution. Pascual Abad replaced Isaias Abella. After 46 played minutes Sir Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Marin Negru. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeo Cordaryal was the one to do the kick off. Melchor Baleren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Vătafu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Pascual Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Toma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Abad in the 62nd minute of play forced Sir Alexandria's goalkeeper Marcu Toma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sir Alexandria's Marin Negru got a free kick in the 64th minute. Pascual Abad took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcu Toma. Marcu Toma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Marcu Toma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Sir Alexandria got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Buznea. Marcu Toma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Abad in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Gutxi in the 73rd minute of play forced Sir Alexandria's goalkeeper Marcu Toma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sir Alexandria's Marcu Toma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Dalmai in the 74th minute of play. Melchor Baleren came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Sir Alexandria's Rareș Vătafu. But to his dismay, Rareș Vătafu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Sabalero's zone, Rareș Vătafu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Baleren came out of the goal and Rareș Vătafu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Sabalero's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rareș Vătafu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 85th minute Pascual Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcu Toma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sir Alexandria's Leonard Condescu got a free kick in the 87th minute.
