Cléber dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Santana having to interfere. Glauco Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Nuno Trigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bebeto Vianna's late challenge caught a LaCity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bebeto Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 played minutes LRCA Office Club got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Vianna. After 19 minutes of play, LaCity's Paulinho Toledo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurício Linhares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Deivid Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Toledo in the 26th minute of the match. Leonardo Santana was a little too slow when Toke Chute got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-1. The supporters of LRCA Office Club booed when LaCity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurício Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Toledo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Paulinho Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes of play, LaCity's Valério da Costa made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The wind increased when Cléber dos Santos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in LRCA Office Club's zone, Valério da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maurício Linhares came out of the goal and Valério da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toke Chute in the 53rd minute of play forced LaCity's goalkeeper Leonardo Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Umberto de Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umberto de Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 55th match minute, LaCity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Cléber dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Santana. LaCity's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 86th minute, LRCA Office Club's Luiz Zanette seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Luiz Zanette the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LRCA Office Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Luiz Zanette had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in LRCA Office Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! In the 96th minute, Caio Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LaCity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. LaCity's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
