The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dalmo Queiroz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Eduardo Loureiro during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Luiz Eduardo Loureiro got a free kick in the 8th minute. Stasio Patrylo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ruy Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nexes FC. After some careless play in the Nexes FC defense, Márcio Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tanek Seliga. The Nexes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tanek Seliga should have stopped the shot. Tanek Seliga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Albuquerque in the 19th minute. Nexes FC's Tanek Seliga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Nexes FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lech Dawiec during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Nexes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lech Dawiec. Tarrasque Voador F.C. were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Nexes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michel Lima took the corner. Michel Lima made a great header on Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s corner, it was just that Nexes FC's Tanek Seliga managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 27th minute, Dalmo Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aleksander Plucinik came free, but Ruy Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Tarrasque Voador F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisão Perez to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Plucinik in the 35th minute of play. Tanek Seliga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Albuquerque in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Aleksander Plucinik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nexes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aleksander Plucinik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Barral to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ramón da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Seliga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tanek Seliga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Queiroz in the 59th minute of the match. Tanek Seliga came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Ramón da Rocha. But to his dismay, Ramón da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 66th minute Aleksander Plucinik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Ribeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Michel Lima tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 71 played minutes Nexes FC got a freekick which was hit by Lech Dawiec. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Michel Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Seliga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 75 minutes, Zygmunt Niedbalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nexes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Niedbalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute Ramón da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Seliga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Ruy Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Patrylo in the 88th minute of play.
