The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charles Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Abajas's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. A collision led to AC Superstar getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Viggo Grönberg hit a great ball. Charles Johansson was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Delmiro Abajas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Delmiro Abajas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 19th minute, Delmiro Abajas made a precise shot to the right of Charles Johansson. AC Superstar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Jesus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of PiCaNTeS FC booed when AC Superstar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Sjöberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. PiCaNTeS FC's Leopoldo Matteo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vidar Spetz in the 27th minute of play. Charles Johansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Abajas's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Charles Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Urtsua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Marcos Martino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Johansson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. 42 minutes into the game, Harry Hernström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leopoldo Matteo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 45 minutes into the game, PiCaNTeS FC's Delmiro Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles Johansson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Abajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Edvard Åkesson fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Superstar's protests and gave Edvard Åkesson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Edvard Åkesson got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute Vidar Spetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Matteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, PiCaNTeS FC's Leopoldo Matteo got control of the ball when Harry Hernström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leopoldo Matteo made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Ingmar Brun sent off a good shot on target. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Ingmar Brun sped through PiCaNTeS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Matteo. In the 71st minute, Gabriel Jesus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Delmiro Abajas came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the PiCaNTeS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Abajas couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in AC Superstar's zone, Marcos Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Johansson came out of the goal and Marcos Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Abajas scored 5-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charles Johansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles Johansson came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by PiCaNTeS FC's Marcos Martino. But to his dismay, Marcos Martino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3.
