Fisica UNT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Turi to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, LISSaint FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pablo Gallinas came free, but Pascoal Estrela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pascoal Estrela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Rodolfo Iratze, in the 14th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. Luis Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pascoal Estrela made a huge save. Rene Lluis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Palhares in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match LISSaint FC got a corner. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogério Madruga ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT booed when LISSaint FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Palhares came free, but Rene Lluis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LISSaint FC's Pascoal Estrela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save LISSaint FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Juan Pablo Gallinas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Pascoal Estrela was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Luis Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Juan Pablo Gallinas might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascoal Estrela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Pablo Gallinas ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, LISSaint FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Pablo Gallinas came free, but Pascoal Estrela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Duarte Palhares to make the kick off. After 66 minutes, Enzo Furtado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LISSaint FC and the Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the LISSaint FC defense, Juan Pablo Gallinas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascoal Estrela. The LISSaint FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascoal Estrela should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Luis Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pascoal Estrela was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Rodolfo Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute Tobias Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Estrela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Remigio Piorno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascoal Estrela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascoal Estrela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute.
